In 2010, I embarked on my journey as a UX designer with the creation of PropertyTabs.com, a project that spanned from 2010 to 2011. Although the platform was almost designed and developed, unforeseen challenges prevented its launch.
Undeterred, I pressed on with my mission to craft impactful digital experiences. In June 2011, I established Informagic – where Information meets Logic, driven by a vision to merge Information with Logic (Information + Logic = Informagic). Under this banner, I embarked on DiscountBuzzer.com, my second project, dedicating two years to fashioning a web platform connecting users with city-wide discounts and offers.
As the UX designer and project lead, I oversaw every stage of DiscountBuzzer.com’s development, from initial ideation to successful launch and ongoing management. Leveraging my experience and expertise, I led the product design, user research, and marketing initiatives for DiscountBuzzer.com, ensuring a solution that resonated with users and aligned with my vision for the platform.
After a few months of its launch, I introduced the first-ever free discount coupons on the website, a game-changing move in the couponing market. This innovation disrupted established norms, as larger companies were selling coupons that were readily available for free on DiscountBuzzer.com.

Problem Statement
Inadequate access to real-time discount information in our city led to missed savings opportunities for consumers. DiscountBuzzer aims to address this by providing timely discount alerts and introducing free discount coupons, disrupting traditional market norms for greater consumer benefit.
Approach
In tackling the challenges presented by DiscountBuzzer.com, I adopted a comprehensive approach that emphasized understanding user needs, designing intuitive solutions, and iteratively refining them based on feedback. My methodology revolved around three key phases: research, design, and iteration.

Utilizing a combination of HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, and Corel Draw, I employed various design techniques and tools to bring DiscountBuzzer.com to life. From branding elements to website design, I leveraged Adobe Photoshop for slicing and Corel Draw for branding, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing user experience.
However, implementation was not without its challenges. The project faced persistent virus attacks and fluctuations in SMS pricing, posing significant obstacles. To overcome these challenges, I implemented robust security measures and adapted the platform to mitigate risks and maintain functionality.
Managing the project involved strong marketing efforts and collaboration with local businesses.
